Our History

While many funeral homes are owned by large corporations, Bueler Funeral Homes is proud to remain a family business and feels that by remaining so, we can better serve our Verde Valley family and friends with respect and integrity.

Ben Bueler proudly carries on the legacy of his father and grandfather as owner and funeral director of Bueler Funeral Homes in Camp Verde and Cottonwood.

Ben and his brother, Samuel Bueler together owned and operated a funeral home in Mesa, Arizona where Samuel continues to serve. In the latter part of 2005 Ben and his wife, Michelle purchased the Hepler Funeral Home in Camp Verde. Hepler Funeral Home had already been serving the Verde Valley since 1981. Upon purchasing the firm, Ben and Michelle have continued to provide thoughtful, professional and affordable service to the area.

In March of 2007 Ben was able to add an on-site crematory to the Camp Verde office. As the only funeral home in Camp Verde and Cottonwood to own and operate a crematory, Bueler Funeral Homes have become the leader of cremation services for the Verde Valley and remain committed to quality service at affordable prices.

After much consideration and requests from the community, in 2009 Ben and Michelle expanded with the Bueler Cottonwood Funeral Home, thus extending excellent service to the communities of the greater Cottonwood area.
