Obituary of Faith Ashley Kalis
Faith Ashley Kalis, 22, a Camp Verde resident, died in a tragic car accident on SR 260 near Sierra Verde Rd. Tues., August 28, 2018. She was a twin, born Aug. 5, 1996 in Mesa, Arizona. Faith spent most of her childhood years in Rimrock, AZ, and then graduated from High School in Camp Verde.
She was highly devoted to Christ and to her family, had some close friendships, and touched the lives of many others as well. She dabbled in art, liked gardening and dearly loved her pets. The pets she had over the years included chickens, rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, a hamster or two, mice, dogs, but she especially loved dogs.
Faith was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Rimrock, and had been a member of Kiwanis “K-Kids” when a child, then “Builders Club,” and was in her school choir throughout the years, as well. During her middle school years and high school years she belonged to three different youth groups and was involved in various activities that served the communities of Camp Verde and Rimrock, as well as feeding and clothing people here and in other parts of the world as well.
Faith is survived by her two year old son, Jayden Thomas Caldwell, partner Raul Martinez, mother Debbie Bibler, and siblings, Christopher, Grace, Rachel, Michael, and Cassandra, and Grandparents Vada and Jim Binick, Aunt Susan and Uncle Curt Coutin, and cousins Jesse, Jordy, Rapha, and Casey.
Funeral services are being held at Beaver Creek Baptist Church, 3705 E. Beaver Creek Rd., in Rimrock this Friday, Sept. 7, at 3:00 p.m. Burial services are being handled by Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home, which will be graveside at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale. This service is for family members only.
