Obituary of Thomas Hurley Lane
Thomas Hurley Lane, 74 of Prescott, Arizona passed away on July 28, 2021 in Verde Valley Medical Center, Cottonwood, Arizona. Thomas was born on July 12, 1947 in Norman, Oklahoma to his parents John and Betty Lane.
He joined the US Army at age 17 serving with the 1st Calvary Division in Vietnam. After his service he travelled all over the US where he loved to meet people and learn new things. He was a jack of all trades and loved to laugh. In 1995 he finally settled in Arizona, living in his favorite place, Prescott. He liked to do volunteer work helping out at churches and soup kitchens as well as helping fellow veterans.
He’s preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Lane. Survivors include: his daughter, Desiree Beckett of Washington, her mother Jamie Joyce Bennett of Washington and grandson Liam Beckett of Washington. His sister Rebecca and her husband Dominick Varbaro of Dallas, GA, his niece Lisa Williams and nephew Brian Varbaro as well as numerous great nephews and a great niece of Dallas, GA. His aunt Dr. Jane Huffman of Denton, TX as well as several cousins.
