Obituary of Josephina Delores Padilla

Josephina Delores Padilla “Tia Lola”, 95, of Camp Verde, AZ, passed away on July 10th, 2022 surrounded by loving friends and family. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Maria Gutierrez and Juan Padilla, husband, (Matilde), brother, Antonio “Tony” Padilla, nephew, Fernando Padilla, her sister Asunción (Concha) Padilla  and her companion dog, Bear. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews here in the USA and in Mexico.

Tia Lola was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1926. When she was two her family moved to Aguascalientes, Mexico, where she resided until her move to Camp Verde, AZ, USA, in 2005. Tia Lola was a master gardener, created beautiful pieces of needlework, and was an avid lover of cats, dogs, and a donkey named Pumpkin.

Please join us at 11:00AM, Saturday, August 6th, at Parkside Community Church, 401 Camp Lincoln Rd., Camp Verde, AZ 86322, for a service honoring her life followed by lunch where we can continue sharing our memories of Tia Lola.
