Obituary of Albert George Odell

September 15, 1926 – July 11, 2013 Albert (Al) G. Odell, 86, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at home. He was a resident of Sedona for 20 years. Born in Bronx, NY, to Svea and Albert Odell, he lived in Ossining, NY and E. Norwalk, CT. After working many years for Philip Morris, Inc. in New York City, he and his wife, Julia, retired to Sedona in 1993. He was proud of being a WWII veteran, former Boy Scout Leader and Auxiliary Police Officer. Most of all never tired from telling stories of his life experiences to anyone who would listen. His fun loving spirit will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Julia M. Odell, sister, Vivian (Odell) Grehan, he is survived by his daughters Diana F. (Robert) Jolly of New Milford, CT and Gloria M. (Don) Frasca of Cottonwood; son Allan C. Odell of Litchfield, CT; brother Kenneth Odell of Rhinebeck, NY; and grandchildren Brian, Anthony, Mackayla and Jacob. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11am in Cottonwood at the Bueler Funeral Home Chapel. Please leave your condolences online for the family.
