I am sorry to hear of Walt's passing. He was a good and compassionate man and an Arizona pioneer. The McDonald family will miss him and his stories of Camp Verde and the Mogollon rim area.

I am sorry to hear about Walt, he was a great man and a very funny person to know. Our Family knew the Murdocks for as long as I can remember. Walt was a great man and very gentle man. Walt and my dad Clifford Baxter use to rope together and competed against each other for years. What a great man he was. I hope that Walt and my Dad, Clifford Baxter are up in heaven and roping daily. God bless the family.

I will never forget Walt, he was so good to our family, Walt and my dad Clifford Baxter use to rope together and us kids would run all around the roping arena playing and ridding horses. We had such good times and I will miss him, he was such a kind man and he liked to be teased and he sure like to tease, I will miss him and I will always remember him. God Bless Diane Baxter Metz.

There are a few men that have special significance and place in one's life as one grows up. Water Murdock was one of those individuals that impressed me as a young person. I have so much respect and admiration for him I can't imagine he has left us. His love of family,the outdoors, livestock, and of course horse racing. I remember when he, Otto Boler and others would race at the old track on the current south boundary of the Camp Verde School grounds. I have memories of him team roping as well at the old arena on the river botton south of the white bridge here in Camp Verde. Walt we will miss you greatly but you shall always be a part of my life! May you rest in Peace!

What a great man and what a pillar of Arizona history. He leaves you quite a legacy. His roping and horse racing years bring back such stories to me. The Tommy Walker family and the Walt Murdoch family were racing rivals, but friends with smiles. What fun times those were. Bless all of you and God Speed, Walt. Tom W.
