Obituary of rion Ester Brown
Marion "Mimi" Ester (Davis) Brown, 86, of Camp Verde, Arizona, formerly of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, passed away on June 17, 2014 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Mimi was born on April 10, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Gladys (Freque) Davis and Hiram Davis.
She was a resident of Longmeadow, Massachusetts for 33 years before moving to Camp Verde. She worked for the Town of Longmeadow as a Crossing Guard at the Wolf Swamp Road School for 21 years, before retiring. Mimi loved to dance with her husband “NoNo” and gardening, especially, taking care of her rose bushes.
Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Norman "Nono" W. Brown, her three children, Debra (Brown) Magnani and her husband, John, of Enfield Connecticut, Holly (Brown) Brewer and her husband, Carl, of Enfield, Connecticut, Norman (Duke) Brown of Camp Verde, Arizona, seven grandchildren, Marisa (Magnani) Sandler, Laura (Magnani) Williams, Katharine (Magnani) Provencher, Kristen (Brewer) Sokolov, Elizabeth (Brewer) Stambovsky, Derrick Brewer, William Brown, nineteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marion was preceased in death by her parents and sisters, Gertrude Bialomyza, Dorothy Huckins, and brother, Edward Davis.
Visitation Service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bueler Funeral Home Chapel, 143 West Arnold Street, Camp Verde, AZ.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
