Obituary of Ruby Mae Simbric
Ruby Mae Simbric of Camp Verde, Arizona passed into eternal life on March 31, 2014. She was born in Arlington, Iowa on May 2, 1922 . She is survived by her children Robert (Sue) Simbric of Camp Verde, Tom (Mary) Simbric of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan (Perry) Steinmeyer of Waterloo, IA, 10 grandchildren, 22 great - grandchildren and 1 great - great - grandchild. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Robert.
In her hometown of Waterloo, Iowa, Ruby was a member and past president of the Amvets Auxiliary. She enjoyed theatre and drama ranging from radio broadcast to initiating the first Swing Show at East High School and was involved in the Waterloo Community Playhouse. Ruby was an active charter member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. She was a Bookkeeper for Zook's Plumbing in her early years and was a wonderful homemaker. In 1979 Ruby and her husband Robert made Camp Verde their home. She valued the love and togetherness of family and friends and embraced life with an amazing spirit and attitude she carried to the very end.
