George was my father figure. He always took an interest in me in how I was doing or feeling. He was very generous, kind and loving. It was always wonderful seeing him and he always brightened my day. He will be truly missed. I am very grateful for having the chance to get to know him. My sincere condolences to the family. Christine

My deepest condolences to all of George's family. I am a volunteer at VVMC. I had the honor of taking George to the Cardiac Rehab. I truly looked forward to getting a big hug from him. He was very special to me & I truly will miss him.So happy I got to know him. May you rest in peace dear friend. And know you will never be forgotten.

My husband, Fritz, died on January 13.... he got to know George from both attending VVMC Cardiac Rehab together. George always made him laugh...he enjoyed getting to know him for that short span of time and i enjoyed giving George a big hug when we said hello. My condolences to his daughter and son who took such good care of him....God bless you, George. Jean. Bernet
