Obituary of Paul Gordon Knaack II
Paul Gordon Knaack II quietly passed in his sleep on Jan 6th at the age of 22. He had just been retired from the army Dec 20th with injuries he sustained in Afghanistan. He had returned to the Verde Valley to redirect his life and found peace here at home.
He is survived by his mother, Eilene Shellman; his father, Paul Knaack; his fiancé, Alice Bruner; grandparents, Sam Messick, Haline Messick, Kay McDevitt, brothers, Lee, Logan, and son, Gannon.
Visitation will be 12:00pm Saturday, January 11, 2014 with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1377 E. Hombre Drive, Cottonwood, Arizona.
Honor guard will be present to commemorate Paul's military service.
