Obituary of Theresa Helene Ellison

Theresa Helene Ellison, was born May 27, 1916, the daughter of Austrian immigrants, in the lower east side of Manhattan in New York City. She moved to Flagstaff in 1963, and then to Camp Verde in 1967. She was a volunteer to the Goodwill Circle, and the Camp Verde Library. As Camp Verde Librarian, many had the privilege of her acquaintance and friendship. Retiring at the age of 92, she was an advocate for animal rights and supported associated groups. She was a mother of six children, and was preceded in death by two sons, Tom and Larry. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Jim), Theresa (Nick), and her sons, Henry (Nancy), and Bob (Selma). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2014. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm January 11, 2014 at the chapel of Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp Verde, AZ.
