Obituary of Lonnie E. Garner Smith

Lonnie E. Garner Smith, 62, passed away December 2, 2017. He was born November 4, 1955. Lonnie was a proud Marine, Wildland Firefighter and a proud father. He was proud altogether. He loved his family more than life itself. His wife, kids and grandchildren meant the world to him. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Smith; his children, Lonnie, Tova(Andrew), and Amos; grandchildren, Angelina, Lorraine, Lenny and Sparrow; father, Bert Garner; his sister, Sheryl and his brothers, Billy, Frank and Elvis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Garner Smith. A visitation will be 6:00pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at Middle Verde Rock Church. Funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday, December 9, 2017 at The Yavapai-Apache Nation Gymnasium.
