Don Frasca

Obituary of Don George Frasca

                              Donald “Don” George Frasca

                             March 9, 1948 – May 23, 2018

Don Frasca, 70, passed May 23, 2018 peacefully at home.

Don is survived in life by his loving wife of 30 years Gloria, son Robert (Heather), daughter Maria (Sijo), and three grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Mary (Julian) and Betty (Fransisco) and many nieces and nephews.  Don has now joined his father George, mother Christine, and younger sister Susan Carter, who have climbed the stairway to heaven before him.

Don was always the loyal husband, loving father, and an aspiring soul to all that knew him.  No matter what challenge he faced, and there were many, he faced it with a smile and never complained.  He didn’t know what “why me” meant.  He faced the challenge head on and triumphed over each one.

Don’s love for his family was always came first.  Second was his love of old cars.  Auto Mechanic by trade, he had more than 50 yrs experience and was ASE Certified.   He took much pride in taking an old car and bringing it back to life.  He loved going to car shows with his “baby” and talking cars.

Don was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.  He took each role seriously and gave it his all to be the best at each.  His sisters said it the best, “Don was fun loving, adventurous, had a heart of gold, mischief maker and prankster. He was a friend, protector, brother and loving, gentle giant.” Those sparkling blue eyes will be greatly missed.

Don’s Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 11th, 2018 @ 2:30 p.m. at the Emmanuel Fellowship Church, 1580 E. Fir, Cottonwood, Arizona.
