His calmness in all situations will be missed. No matter work or personal health issues, he seemed to breathe it in, think a bit, and then move to do what needed to be done. Maybe others did, but I never heard a complaint. That's a strong character. I will miss him lumbering in with a set of rolled up plans,showing me what the engineers got wrong.

We will miss Rick a lot. A good man, good friend, and man of integrity. I loved his sense of humor, and especially his unique smile and laugh that made people happy as they couldn't resist laughing with him. I remember him as a hard worker and dedicated family man. I worked with Rick, went to school with him, hunted with him once, and always admired him. We grew up together - much of our early lives at the Goddard Ranch up on the Rim. We are very sorry for your loss. Deborah and family - May God bless and keep you.
