Obituary of Donna Jean Cordes

Donna Jean Cordes was born May 5, 1937 to Darrell and Evelyn Loughead in Upland, California and passed away peacefully at home in Clarkdale, Arizona on Monday, January 21, 2019. Donna Was a twin to Donald, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband Bob, son Robert III (Kim) of Phoenix, Arizona, Son Gary (Diana) of Prescott Valley, Arizona and daughter Debra (John Baker) of Grand Junction, Colorado. Additional members include four grandchildren: Jennifer, Cynthia, Greg, Jeff and six great grandchildren: Logan, Tanner, Jackson, Sierra, Audrey, and Charlotte.

After living in and visiting various countries including Egypt, Europe, and Alaska, Donna and Bob’s love for the outdoor life drew them to the pristine and tranquil region surrounding Boulder Lake, Wyoming. Here they built their dream log home which for many years served as the epicenter for her passions. The area supported great fishing opportunities which she would frequently indulge in. If not found at a nearby lake or stream, she would be tending her beloved horses. She was fond of playing her musical instruments when time allowed, and always enjoyed spending time with her family during visits.

The sound of her laughter will be missed.
