Obituary of Ruth Ewing Ludwig

Ruth Ewing Ludwig, 73, of Rimrock, AZ passed away peacefully the morning of July 4, 2019 with her
daughter and son-in-law at her side. She was born in Canby, MN on February 26, 1946 to the late
Charlie and Norma Ewing. She moved to Scottsdale, AZ in the summer of 1976 with her husband, Jerry
Ludwig, and her two children, Todd and Traci Ludwig. Jerry and Ruth then moved to Rimrock in 2001,
after purchasing the Old Corral Bar in Cornville, AZ. She recently sold the bar in 2018 and was enjoying
her retirement. Ruth loved to play golf and generally played weekly or biweekly. She was in various
women’s leagues and enjoyed the friendships and competition.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Traci Johnson, and son-in-law, Tom Johnson; her daughter-in-law, Polly
Corsino; her beloved grandchildren, Weston, Hayden, and Holli. She is also survived by her sister, Lucy
Ewing Moren and her brother, Donald Ewing. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry,
son, Todd, and sisters, Darlene and Karen.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on July 16, 2019 at 1:00PM at The Old Corral Bar, 11375 E. Cornville
