My dearest Fred, I sure wish I would have had the honor of meeting you in person. Your magic, your love, your kindness and your humor touched so many hearts. Our lives will never be the same without you. The only comfort is knowing you're spreading your magic in heaven, and watching over your loved ones. ❤

I still can’t believe that you’re gone Freddie! Even as I write this I wish that you would walk through my garage door. I don’t know HOW to be without you, you and I were the uniquely “in touch” ones of the family. We shared that special empath connection, and have always had such compassion for the elderly. I would guess that that’s because they always reminded us of our own grandparents that we so loved and adored. You are the BEST big brother, you ALWAYS looked out for me growing up. I will NEVER forget when we stayed with Ronnie & Christine, we had spent the night. I didn’t feel good, and I was sleeping and tossing and turning and saying some things in my sleep that really scared Christine. She went and woke you up and you came in the room and you gently woke me up. Apparently I had been saying, “I don’t feel good, my head hurts, I’m gonna die.” Shortly after you woke me up I was so sick that I ran to the bathroom and you rubbed my back while I was throwing up. You kept telling me it’s OK you’re going to be OK, I’m here, and you NEVER left my side. I have ALWAYS had you in my life and I do not KNOW what my life looks like without you in it. I know that you’re gone, but I don’t feel like you’re gone, it feels like a horrible nightmare that I cannot wake up from. I know you’re happy and you’re free, and I KNOW the beauty you see, because I’ve SEEN it too! You know the conversation that we had and I know that you believed me, and that meant EVERYTHING to me. I know you’re with Dad and ALL of our family. I am ABSOLUTELY certain that they had an amazing party for you, and I KNOW you, being the center of attention and all, got a big kick out of it. PLEASE don’t be a stranger Freddie my love, I KNOW that you HAVE it in you to come and visit us, so PLEASE do so often! I love you NOW, ALWAYS, FOREVER and EVER, to the moon and back and then some, to INFINITY AND BEYOND!!! I KNOW we WILL meet again and when we do we’re gonna party like it’s the 80s again! I love you, your little sister Roree ♥️

Fred always let you know what was in his heart and on his mind. He loved his family and friends deeply and he always was there when you needed him. He was hilarious but also honest and kind. The world lost a great man, friend, brother, uncle, cousin and son. I'm sure he's looking down on us planning escapades in hilarity for us all. Miss you, see you on the other side.

Dearest Fred,
My wish that we could have met a long time ago. Maybe we did? Before we came to this life? After all I am only 3 days younger...
I think I speak for all that knew you when I say that you are a special soul. Very giving, kind, and loving. Not to mention your incredible sense of humor—impressively so, as you often did some hard time in FB jail.
I know that you continue to be the genuine soul that you had been on this Earth. Wherever you are, you make others laugh and feel that they matter.
Until we meet again, Sweet Friend...

Fred.... You are the funniest, moist lovable and gracious person. I remember our Karaoke days with the Pines gang singing “Summer Nights” from the movie Grease and than driving home with Sheri with your Joan Rivers impersonation and we laughed so hard. You will be missed. Love you Fred

Fred, I'm quite certain that you have no inkling of the profound impact that your friendship had on me, having only made your acquaintance in recent years. The times that we spent talking on the patio, often with your sister Zanners and Sherri, were hilarious, uplifting, and insightful. We had completely different approaches to all kinds of "life stuff". Your good spirit and natural talent for digging right into a person and showing them their own heart was remarkable.
Your intuition and your words were often like a torch that burned right through the icy layers of stoicism that I'd spent many years building, polishing, and perfecting. You courageously called me out on occasional bullshit, helped me to illuminate and sort out confusing, tumultuous, emotionally charged things that I'd boxed. You offered me a greater understanding of my own self and I'm certain that I am not alone in that.
So many delightful memories of you. Your enthusiasm for and expertise regarding all things Disney. A seemingly endless supply of funny hats, etc. Your habit of bringing Star Wars toys along everywhere you went. Our sci fi marathons. So, so many laughs. Your absolutely radiant love for your family and friends.
I will remember you always and think of you fondly, my friend. I'll picture you in my mind's eye running around the Magic Kingdom with a handful of E-tickets, gleefully enjoying your favorite rides. Dressed up like Maleficent, horns and all, of course.
As I continue on my own path, I know that there will be times when I'll think I know what you'd say and I'll hear your voice in my inner dialogues.
I will not say goodbye. I will carry the little candle that you lit in my heart until we meet again.
