Obituary of Dennis Ray Vansickle
Dennis VanSickle, 66, of Cottonwood Arizona. passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, January 9, 2020. He was born in Gallia County, Ohio on October 20 1953 to the late Charles Vansickle and the late Nettie Wright. He moved to Cottonwood, Arizona in 2009 with his wife Karen Lamp-Vansickle and lived there until his death. Dennis was inspired to pursue his passions for art and music through his participation in the band and art classes in the Galia County School District in southern Ohio where he graduated from Kyger Creek Highschool in 1971. He became an accomplished Watercolor artist and drummer throughout his adult life.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Karen Lamp-VanSickle and her son Elijah and his wife Penny and son Jacob, daughters Carey and son Cameron, Kristen and son's William and Jacob and his son, Eric and his wife Katie. Dennis is also survived by sisters Evelyn, Jaunita and Ruthann and their children and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no funeral services in Cottonwood, Arizona It was Dennis' wish to be cremated and his wife will bring his ashes back to Ohio.
