One of the last times that I got to see Linda and Al before I moved in 2018 was at a mutual friends house with around a dozen friends and at least that many greyhounds! And for a lady that was afraid of big dogs, Linda eventually became very comfortable around our hounds and took it in stride :) Of course a couple of margaritas helped her to relax!
She and Al were regular guests at cookouts at my place with the "greyhound clan". We ate like kings and a few cocktails were dispensed as well. Sometimes we used the dogs' birthdays as an excuse for a party. I have lots and lots of memories of the good times that we all spent together and will continue to miss those days.
I'm so sorry that Linda had to endure so many years of misery. And since she's not here to say it, I will:. F*** CANCER! I'm sorry that I wasn't there at the end for you but you had your hero Al. And Al took such great care of you, and so willingly. You were well loved.
Rest easy pal, thanks for all the fun we had.
