Obituary of Esther Allard Carmody
Esther Allard Carmody 84 of Camp Verde Arizona, formally of Jacksonville, Vermont passed away of natural cause on August 4th with her loving husband by her side. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Allard and Marion Haynes Allard. She was born in Jacksonville, VT and lived on the family farm. She worked at Hartwin Motors in Greenfield, MA where she met her loving husband Harold Carmody who survives. After leaving Vermont they made their way to Camp Verde, Arizona where they made a living as caregivers and home maintenance. Esther was an avid vegetable gardener and raised many varieties of beautiful roses. She was very active in her church and was always helping her neighbors and the local food banks. She is survived by sons Douglas Moore, Readsboro, VT (Carol), Fred Moore, New Haven, CT (Maureen), Gordon Moore, Jacksonville, VT (Pam), and daughters Linda Bolt, East Dummerston, VT, and Brenda Washburn, Rockingham, VT (Greg) as well as a sister Lucille Finneault, Maynard, MA. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great children. She is predeceased by her sons Gregory Moore, Jeffrey Moore, and daughter Pamela Moore as well as sisters Emily Nelson and Ruth Bartosewcz. There will be no services at this time.
