I always knew I was at the right house, because Melanie would come running out onto the stoop with only HER level of excitement and saying my name. Only SHE could make my name sound the way that made me like it!
Her hugs were what I loved the most. They were honest and real and made me feel truly loved.
I remember Kim and I were in Kim's room and Melanie was in hers, and she was in there just saying my name over and over with a rhythm like a song, but not a song. Drove Kim nuts but I found it peaceful and loving.
I missed you for YEARS cousin. I loved you so, I never stopped. I found you all because of that love. Wish I could have gotten out to see you; but soon. We will be together again SOON! Oh, I'll be looking forward to that SPECIAL Hug you give!
