Obituary of Linda Lee Folz
Linda Lee (Stout) Folz, 78, of Camp Verde, Arizona left her earthly body on May 12, 2021.
Linda was born in Somerville, New Jersey to Ira and Dorothy Stout on December 21, 1942. After moving to Arizona when she was 6, Linda attended high school at both Scottsdale High School and Arcadia High School. She was part of the first graduating class at Arcadia High School 1959. Linda went on to marry Robert Folz in 1960. After starting their small family in Central Phoenix, Linda and Robert settled in Camp Verde in 1981 and never left. She was General Manager of both Cottonwood and Camp Verde McDonalds, where she had many more children to raise through her 25 plus years working there. She enjoyed all Arizona sports, especially her Cardinals and Phoenix Suns, loved laughing, singing, watching Survivor and The Masked Singer, eating fish and chips and chile rellenos.
She was a survivor of stroke and colon cancer of 10 years. She fought a hard battle, but lost in the end to a very quick fight with pancreatic/liver cancer.
Linda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert, son Darrell (Susan) Folz of Waddell AZ, son Jeffrey Folz of Las Vegas NV, daughter Robyn Folz of Lake Montezuma AZ, son Bryan Folz of Phoenix AZ. Sisters Veronica Quinn of Irving TX and Deborah (Mac) McCusker of Brenda AZ. Grandchildren Christopher Folz, Matthew (Brienne) McDowell, Tiffany Folz, Dennis Folz and Logan (Leah) Folz. Great-grandchildren Paxton McDowell and Brecken McDowell and many nieces and nephews scattered all over the United States. Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents, Ira and Dorothy Stout, older brother Robert Stout and granddaughter Heather McDowell.
She may be gone in body, but her spirit and laughter will live on in everyone she touched. Services were held privately with immediate family only.
In lieu of any flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
