Lee was a great guy. We used to play tennis together back in the 80’s and Lee always made sure the gym was open for basketball. Sorry to hear he has passed away. My condolences to his family.

My family and I moved to Cottonwood about the same time Lee did. My wife, Arleen and I, worked for Jerome Instrument, a company started by my brother John, in the late 1970's. Housed in the old Mingus High School, one of the benefits of working at JIC was having the use of the school's gym for pick-up basketball games. Lee, being a natural gym rat, was involved from the beginning; perhaps this was the start of Lee's journey that one day would bring him the well-deserved title of "General". The picture which I hope translates well here, shows Lee Gorby, Most Valuable Player!!!, holding the trophy for the Jerome Volunteer Fire team after winning the "B" league trophy, circa 1983. Nothing but net, Lee babe!

Lee was a good friend for the last 10 years or so.
It was always a pleasure to spend time with him, and
I'll always appreciate the many times we had the opportunity
To chat about everything imaginable.
Blessings, my friend, to you, your family, and friends.

Our Condolence to the Family of Lee Gorby.
Lee was more than just a customer of Premier Lab Supply, he was a fantastic person to work with and have great conversations with. Lee was very much respected as a person and in the scientific industry. Lee loved life and the people around him and will be solely missed.
God Bless
