Obituary of Eric Anton Meyers

Eric Anton Meyers, age 55 of Cottonwood, AZ passed away September 8, 2021 after a short illness. Eric was born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota on Dec 26,1965. He was adopted by Howard and Leila Meyers in November of 1968 joining older sisters Peggy, DeeDee and Audree.

Eric graduated from Golden West High School in Visalia, CA.  He completed the Tennis Professional Program at Tyler Jr College in Tyler, TX and became a USPTA tennis professional. He worked as a tennis pro and in retail sales until shortly before his death. Eric was a people person who loved playing and teaching tennis and playing board games and card games with his family. He also loved his cats. 

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, sister Audree Pipe, brother Jerry Robinson, and niece Katy Wescoatt. Survivors include his wife Bonnie, mother-in-law Anita Reidhead, his children Michaela Meyers and Howard Meyers of Lubbock, TX, Bonnie’s children Stephanie, Jessica (Johnny) and Victoria, his sisters Peggy Lemke (Dean), DeeDee Wescoatt (Mark), brother-in-law Keeble Pipe, sister-in-law Sharon Robinson. grandchildren Arianna, Autumn and Johnny, and many nieces and nephews. 

A private family service will be held on Sunday, September 12. Memorials may be sent to Verde Valley Humane Society.
