Obituary of Marion Duane Maloy

Marion Duane Maloy, of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022.  He was born August 14,1926 to Ed and Queenola Maloy in Ashurst, Arizona.

 

Duane was a United States World War II Navy Veteran.  He was an active life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 

He is survived by: his children, Teri James (Kent), Patti Jack (Darel), Mike Maloy (Cindi) and Tim Maloy (Sharee); twenty grandchildren, fifty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.  Also, his sisters, Myrna Mangum and Dortha Robinson and brother, Marlon.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue; a son, Marion Dennis Maloy, and a grandson, Mathew Jack; his father, Ed; mother, Queenola; sisters, Glenda Brown, Ardith McBride, Lavona Palmer and Eddene Maloy, and brothers, Gailey and Joseph.

 

Funeral Services for Duane will be conducted Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00AM at Vining Funeral Home in Safford, Arizona.  Graveside Services with Military Honors conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Safford Union Cemetery.
