Obituary of Robert Alan Brandt

Bob Brandt, 77 of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 11^th 2022. Bob was born on September 19th, 1944 in Chicago Illinois to parents William and Evelyn Brandt. He lived in Clarkdale, Arizona with his brother Bill and his sister-in-law Lorraine.

 Bob was a lifetime auto mechanic (he was the go-to guy for us backyard mechanics needing advice) and retired from Big O tires in Estes Park, Colorado, where he lived for over 20 years, in 2015. He served in the Sea Bee’s during the Vietnam war and was honorably discharged in October of 1969. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/FMF Combat Operations Insignia and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Evelyn and his sons Jeffery and Bobby an grandson Christian. Bob is survived by his ex-wives Linda and Glennda (who remained part of his life), son Eric, daughters Donna (Bogden) Kawejsza, Lisa (Ryan) Paul and Sue Sapien, brothers Bill, Jim, Ron, Rich and Ralph, grandchildren Ryan & Chrissie Kawejsza, Conner, Corin, Kailyn, Kelsi & Kwinn Paul, Lily & Xavier Sapien.

 Due to his COPD condition, he was unable to visit relatives but stayed in touch by phone and he loved and was loved by all. Funeral services will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, September 20th with full military honors.
