I am so sorry to find this out. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I can't believe she is gone. I don't know what happened but I hope that she didn't suffer. I knew her for years from the college. My most favorite memories that I had with her was in our ASL class. I will miss her beautiful smile and amazing personality. Rest In Peace Beautiful Girl.

My sincerest and most heart felt condolences to all the family. I was truly blessed to have known such a kind soul. Nita was a true down to earth person who enjoyed every bit of life it had to offer. She gave me plenty of laughs and many good conversations on just about anything. She was a person with a big heart and always included me and the family with whatever she and her family were celebrating. Her laughter and her kindness will be truly missed. I love you Nita and may the gates of heaven welcome you with open arms...

Juanita was a funny, outgoing, hardworking young lady. It was a pleasure to have her on my team at Yavapai College. We made lots of food for the campus club functions and she was the queen of making Mexican rice in the family tradition. May her spirit live on forever in the hearts of those she touched and brighten the souls she has joined. My prayers go out to her family in this time of loss. We love you Nita!

While we hadn't communicated; Juanita and I, for many years- we used to work together at Campus Activities for Yavapai College, Verde Valley Campus. We had a number of classes together, including Spanish where I fondly remember all of us meeting for a class dinner at Casa Bonita in Clarkdale. There were many memorable and goofy moments while on the job as well. Juanita was full of positivity, honor, and loyalty to her Latina heritage. I learned so much about the expectations and traditions of Latina women through her, all of which she welcomed gracefully. My sincere condolences to her family. I am so grateful our paths crossed all those years ago. She was a beautiful soul.

Juanita, you will be so dearly missed by everyone. I miss working with you at the College. I remember how excited you were when I finally had Hailey almost 7 years ago and you would steal her from me every morning while we worked. We used to have so much fun. We would go to the movies and hang out. You were and still are a great friend. As I look back on my Facebook memories I see your name pop up all the time, and reading your comments bring tears to my eyes. We were supposed to meet up and let the kids have a play date. You were taken from this life way to early, but you know as well as I do that the Heavenly Father has his plans, and knows the next step in our life's before we do. I love you girly and miss you like crazy.
