I worked with Vern at Farmers Insurance in Austin TX for many years. He was always larger than life. He was tough at times, but he had a big smile and an even bigger heart. He was smart and well loved by many. While we were sad to see him retire and then move away, the joy in knowing he was happy and living a full life was worthwhile. My sympathy to all the family, may you take solace in knowing he was a faithful man, lived a long and rich life and is in a better place where there is no pain. Rest in peace and help take care of us all, Vern!
